ESS Letter of Interest

  Dear ESS West Licensing team, Thank you for the opportunity to hopefully become a substitute teacher in the Clackamas County and Washington County school systems.   I look forward to starting as soon as possible.   I believe my educational and professional background will help benefit the students I may teach.   I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Florida in 1977.   I then moved to Portland, Oregon in June 1978.   In 1980, I was accepted to the Oregon Health Sciences University School of Dentistry, where I graduated with a DMD degree in June 1984.   Soon after my graduation, I started my dental career practicing at the Russell Street Clinic, while concurrently working at Aetna Insurance, processing dental and medical claims.   In July 1985, I began practicing dentistry full time at Willamette Dental Group until my retirement this past October in 2023.   At Willamette Dental Group, I was a vital membe...

March Check-In

In March, I read daily the following according to God's establishment commandment: Romans through Revelation twice per week 1 Chronicles through Acts Genesis through 2 Kings In addition, I listened to the new Romans TSABS lessons seven and eight, and 2 John thru Revelation Six in the old school.  Today I would like to discuss the simple word "BOTH." I think that most would consider it to imply two. Noah Webster, in fact, defines it as:  BOTH , adjective Two as considered distinct from others or by themselves; the one and the other.  However, the Bible, being all authority, will dictate how the word is and should be defined. Let us look at two passages of scripture: Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness; and, Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: Obviously, in each case the word, BOTH, refers to more than tw...
