January Check-In
Being thankful and joyful, I read daily according to God's establishment commandment the following in Jauary:
- Romans through Revelation twice per week
- 2 Kings 18 through Acts
- Genesis through 2 Kings 20.
In addition, I listened to the first four lessons of the new Romans TSABS lessons and the Hebrews and James lessons in the old school.
There are many things I can write about, but today I will touch on Paul. The importance of looking at all scripture today through the eyes of Paul and reading according to God's establishment commandment cannot be emphasized enough. How else can one rightly divide the word of truth?
Paul, my brother, my apostle, my pattern. From his conversion in Acts 9 to his martyrdom in 2 Timothy 4, Paul clearly demonstrates that he is the pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him (Christ) to life everlasting. He exemplifies God's eternal purpose of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ living and being magnified in his body.
Paul beseeches us to follow him and mark them which walk so as ye have us (Paul and Christ living in Paul) for an ensample.
The dispensation of the grace of God was given Paul to us-ward, and that by revelation Christ made known unto him the mystery, to preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ;
and to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery.
Paul a servant of Jesus Christ, a minister and preacher of the gospel, whose writings are the commandments of the Lord.
Paul commands us that those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do (I do, and I will): and the God of peace shall be with you.!
Thank you Father for our apostle Paul!
Amen.
