June Check=In

Again, in everything I give thanks to God my Father for:

  • The Lord Jesus Christ and what he accomplished for me at Calvary.
  • The word of God which effectually worketh in me.
  • The fellowship that I have with him, and with his son Jesus Christ.
  • The fellowship that I have with my family (The Church of the Living God), and for a pastor who teaches the scriptures aright.  
  • The privilege of being able to read the holy scriptures daily.
  • His establishment commandment  
  • The Holy Ghost and to all riches of the full assurance of understanding.
  • All things that he has provided me in the earthly: food, clothing, shelter, my wife, my work, my heath.
My new job as a substitute teacher has gone very well. The school I have been working at just offered me a full-time position for the upcoming school year starting in August. I accepted the position since I am fully able to work (if any would not work, neither should he eat), and knowing that in all labour there is profit. I will continue to go to work, with good will doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men.  

As you know, I lead a fairly mundane life according to the world. But because of Christ and the mind of Christ (the holy scriptures), and knowing that I have been blessed with all spiritual blessings, I can and do glory in eternal life NOW. The quotidian cares of this earthly life no longer deter or distract me from becoming fully established in the faith, to the end that I may be perfect in my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. 

I am sorry that I am submitting this check-in so late today. I have been battling a bad respiratory infection and terrible cough. Today is the first day in two-weeks I have been able to sleep well.  Regardless. I am glorying in this tribulation.

Romans Capítulo 1

La introducción, abarca los primeros 17 versículos del capítulo 1, y esta sección se subdivide a su vez de la manera siguiente: Los primeros 7 versículos contienen el saludo personal de Pablo. Luego, en los versículos 8-13 tenemos el propósito que tuvo Pablo en escribir esta carta. Romanos VII

  Yo pude ver con toda claridad que estaría, en lo que se podría llamar, pleno territorio del enemigo. Es verdad que el capellán iba a estar allí en ese funeral, un buen hombre y firme en su fe cristiana. A él se le pidió que diera una nota biográfica del fallecido y el panegírico. Bueno, él hizo todo en forma totalmente correcta y debida. Mencionó las diferentes medallas que el occiso había recibido, y vale decir, que era un hombre sumamente valiente, un hombre que merecía cada una de las condecoraciones que había recibido durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial.
