September Check-In

  I give thanks daily to God my Father for:

  • The Lord Jesus Christ and what he accomplished for me at Calvary.
  • The word of God which effectually worketh in me.
  • The fellowship that I have with him, and with his son Jesus Christ.
  • The fellowship that I have with my family (The Church of the Living God), and for a pastor who teaches the scriptures aright.  
  • The privilege of having the time and being able to read the holy scriptures daily.
  • His establishment commandment  
  • The Holy Ghost and to all riches of the full assurance of understanding.
  • All things that he has provided me in the earthly: food, clothing, shelter, my wife, my work, my heath.
Work is going well and has been fairly uneventful. The students have been back in class following the Labor Day break. I will continue working each and every day with good will doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men.  I am very thankful for the supplemental income this work provides.  

To assure that I am redeeming the time, I have been getting up at 4:30 AM every morning.  This enables me to read for two hours each day prior to work.  I get off at 4 PM and get home most days by 4:15. This allows me to spend time with Bobbye, and still then have at least two hours to study at night. Most nights I go to bed at 10 PM.  I am very grateful that this schedule has thus far been easy to maintain.
